Hotel Barriere Le Majestic Cannes

The Hotel staff is super. You can ask everything, you always get a smile.

I regret that the internet access is charged at 10 euros/Hour. It's much to much.

The hotel location is great. No comments about the beach as we stayed off-season and the beach was closed.

The staff was very friendly but it worth to check the bill as we got some minibar charges on our account which we did not use at all and at the same time they fotgot to charge us with the breakfast. The bill was fixed with no problems but the feeling telling on the receprion that I did not drink wisky was not very pleasent for me :)

Position .size of bedroom. As it is 5 star hotel and one of the leading hotels in the world I was surprised that I had to carry some of our bags to the room. We prefer the Stephanie or the Carlton or the Martinez.

Small pool that became shaded in the late afternoon. Not enough loungers and what there were were too close together.

Nice comfortable, good bed, great location in Cannes, great service, great carparking service, didn't eat there, but variety of food looked good

Using the shower you inevitably flood the bathroom floor with water, to get seaview you had to stand in front of the window and look to the right, scrambled eggs made by "bake-off" did not suit an otherwise nice breakfast menu

Location was good, room service and reception was helpful

Room was dusty, not good for allergic people

The new wing rooms are superb but the old style are rather poor

The electrics fused at 1am in the morning and they could not be fixed till the morning!!

The hotel was amazing on all points; the staff are so friendly and helpful, I cannot fault any of them. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at the Majestic Barriere and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat!

The cost of lunch in the beach restaurant was quite steep - over Euro130 for a quick lunch on arrival seemed very high, when the food was not that much better than a cheaper restaurant. There were plenty of other people eating there though, so may be we were just not used to such high costs for lunch! Staff were fantastic there though too!

We have a very unpleasent stay at the Majestic Hotel Cannes. We have booked the room throught here with good price, and the hotel offered us a room right next to the elevator without informing us during check in. The room was very noisy all the time, and we complained to the staff the next day, and they told us a lot of excuses saying the room was not noisy at all.

No free wifi : a joke in 2012 !

The location was exceptional and the service is superb

I love the decor, staff are both friendly and professional. My mother uses a wheelchair and the hotel was accessible although the slope leading up to the front entrance was a little steep. My mother loved the white bed linen and fluffy pillows.

The tiled floor in the bathroom was a little for my mother who has left sided paralysis but other than that I liked everything.

The room was old and small. To order a drink after midnight in the bar or outside is only possible by room service. Crazy!

It is situated a little further from the street adn it is very pleasant to have breakfast (you do not hear the cars as at Martinez and RItz)
